History Entries

History entries are detailed notes about the customerClosed An individual or business purchasing your product or service by placing an order through Cleverbridge. The customer is the end user of this product, as they are not allowed to resell the purchased products or services. ​ A customer is unique per client. If a customer purchases products or services from two different clients, there are 2 separate records of said customer.​ interactions and transaction events that occurred after an initial purchaseClosed An order made by a customer and the records associated with it.. They are vital to discerning what has happened and what must still be done with regard to purchases.

Add a History Entry

To add a history entry in web admin tool, do the following:

  1. On the Customers page, locate the relevant customer and click the reference number. The Purchase Details page appears.
  2. On the Purchase Details page, click the Add History Entry button. The Add History Entry window opens.
  3. Select options from the following drop-down menus:
    FieldDescription
    Nature of Contact Source of the contact, for example, whether the contact was initiated by the customer or internally in your organization.
    Contact Method Way in which the contact was initiated.
    Contact CategoryGeneral reason for the contact. The Contact Category drop-down is available only when Show Most Used is disabled.
    Contact Reason Specific reason for the contact.
  4. Enter additional information in the following optional fields:
    • Contact Link
    • Manual Short
    • Manual Link
  5. Click Submit.

View a History Entry

To view an existing history entry, do the following:

  1. On the Customers page, locate the relevant customer.
  2. To display purchase details, click the reference number. The Purchase Details page appears.
  3. Click History.(You may need to scroll down). The History tab displays the history entries.
