The Affiliate receives a commission on a specific action (also called event: e.g., sale, lead, click, visit etc.) previously agreed upon with you, the advertiser. Each action is tracked via a unique tracking link from Partnerize.
An affiliate is also called a publisher. Center. If you choose to continue using the Affiliate Center to manage your affiliates, you are responsible for paying them out based on the performance reports generated by the Cleverbridge platform.

An affiliate is a person or a company that sends visitors to your website in exchange for a commission. Affiliates do not sell your products for you or communicate with your customers. Affiliates simply market your products to a larger audience.
How it WorksAffiliates place links and banner ads for your products on their websites, which direct traffic to your website. When customers click through the affiliate’s website and purchase An order made by a customer and the records associated with it. your products, this transaction is tracked and the affiliate receives a commission, a percentage of every sale, for this advertising effort. You set the commission rate for affiliates when you accept them into your affiliate program.

Affiliate links include their Cleverbridge affiliate ID number. The affiliate ID can be set in a cookie, so that Cleverbridge can distinguish which affiliate referred the customer An individual or business purchasing your product or service by placing an order through Cleverbridge. The customer is the end user of this product, as they are not allowed to resell the purchased products or services.
A customer is unique per client. If a customer purchases products or services from two different clients, there are 2 separate records of said customer. and therefore receives the commission. For more information, see Affiliate Tracking.
