Set Up Your Account

After you've received your Cleverbridge client account details, do the following:

  1. Log on to our desktop tool, the Commerce Assistant (CA), using your Cleverbridge credentials.

    Note

    If you haven't downloaded the CA yet, go to Download the Commerce Assistant .

  2. Click Setup > Account Setup in the main menu.
  3. Enter your contact information, localization preferences, and protection seeds. For more information, see Account Setup ✱.
  4. Save your changes.
  5. Click Setup > Users in the main menu.
  6. Set up credentials and privileges for any individuals (users) who will have access to the account. For more information, see Users ✱.
  7. Save your changes.
  8. Send the following information directly to the Cleverbridge team:

    Checkout Configuration Design

    Before you begin using the cart, work with Cleverbridge Client Experience to develop your checkout process. Cleverbridge customizes the design of your checkout configuration to match your website. Client Experience will help you decide which templates and cart style options are right for your business.

    Contact Client Experience with the following information:

    • Your website URL
    • If your website isn’t online yet, access information for your finalized, pre-launch version
    • The date you plan on going live with Cleverbridge

    Payout Information

    Send your payout information, including payout currency, to Client Payments. The payout information that we require varies according to your company's country of residence. To determine which information to provide, see the following table:

    Client policies outline your company’s policies and procedures that will be implemented by Cleverbridge Customer Support. Fill out the Client Policy Checklist form ✱ and return it to cleverbridge Client Experience. By filling out this form, you provide us detailed guidance on how to best serve your customers.
