Offer and Manage Bundles

You can select products to be included in a bundle and sold together at a specific price. The bundle price is generally lower than the sum of the individual product prices, which creates an incentive to buy several products at once. In the Cleverbridge platform, a bundle consists of products that are packaged together, not several licenses that are packaged together for one product.

When products are combined to make a bundle, they do not retain their individual product IDs. Instead, they use one bundle ID.

Bundled products must remain together. Single products can't be deleted from a bundle during the order An agreement between a seller and a buyer to exchange goods and/or services for money. An order can: - contain multiple products and quantities; - have multiple financial transactions. A preorder authorization is considered an order. process.

Add Products to a Bundle

1. In the Commerce Assistant main menu, select Products & Delivery > Add Product > Bundle. The Product portal opens.
2. In the Product portal, open the Bundle section.
3. In the Available Products section, select a product.
   1. To filter the list of products, use the Search function in this section and enter search text.
   2. To select multiple items at once, press and hold the CTRL button on your keyboard while selecting the individual items, or, to select a range, click on the top line item in the range, and press and hold the SHIFT button on your keyboard while clicking on the bottom line item in the range.
4. Click the arrow, or drag-and-drop the items to the Products Included in Bundlesection.
5. Optionally, to change the quantity for a product, in the Products Included in Bundle section, select the product and enter the quantity in the Quantity column.
6. In the Position column, enter a position in the cart for each product in the bundle. This determines the order in which products display to customers. The position ranges from 1 to 100, with 1 being the highest position in the cart, and 100 being the lowest position in the cart.
7. Optionally, to hide a product in a bundle, select the product and select the checkbox in the Hidden column.
8. Click Save.

Remove Products from a Bundle

1. In the Commerce Assistant main menu, select Products & Delivery > Add Product > Bundle. The Product portal opens.
2. In the Product portal, open the Bundle section.
3. In the Products Included in Bundle section, select the products you want removed from the bundle.
   1. To select multiple items at once, press and hold the CTRL button on your keyboard while selecting the individual items, or, to select a range, click on the top line item in the range, and press and hold the SHIFT button on your keyboard while clicking on the bottom line item in the range.
4. Click the arrow, or drag-and-drop the items to the Available Products section.
5. Click Save.

Set up Pricing for a Subscription Bundle

There are several ways to set up pricing for a bundle, depending on the use case you want to achieve. The following scenarios explain reasons for creating bundles and how to configure them in the Cleverbridge platform. Use Case A: Sell a Perpetual Software combined with a Maintenance Plan

1. Create a new bundle product.
2. Set up the bundle as a regular product.
3. Add the perpetual software to the bundle.
4. Add the maintenance plan as a subscription product to the bundle. Only the maintenance plan in the bundle will be renewed and the renewal price includes only the maintenance plan price you entered.

Use Case B: Offer Multiple Subscription Services for an Individual Package Price

1. Create a new bundle product.
2. Set up the bundle as a subscription product.
3. Add several products to the bundle.
4. Set up each product in the bundle as a regular product. Only the bundle product will be renewed and the renewal price includes only the bundle price you entered.
