Clearing supplement file
The Clearing supplement file is an additional data export that Cleverbridge can provide on request. It is intended for clients who need more detailed transaction-level payout and reconciliation data than is available in the standard clearing documents.
The standard clearing documents remain the primary accounting documents for payouts:
- The Self-billing invoice as the official accounting document for the payout.
- The Clearing report, which provides transaction-level support for the payout totals.
The clearing supplement file allows you to:
- perform advanced reconciliation in your own BI, ERP, or data warehouse systems,
- analyze transaction attributes beyond the standard payout documents,
- automate downstream finance, tax, audit, or reporting processes, or
- receive a structured data export through a machine-readable delivery channel.
In other words, the clearing supplement file is useful when the standard clearing documents are sufficient for accounting, but an additional export is needed for deeper operational or analytical processing.
The Clearing supplement file does NOT replace the standard clearing documents. Instead, it complements them. Use it when you need additional structured data for internal analysis or system integration.

The Clearing supplement file is available on request. To start the setup, contact your Cleverbridge representative and specify which delivery method you want to use.
