Clearing supplement file
The clearing supplement file is an optional, machine-readable export with additional transaction-level data for payout analysis and reconciliation. It is intended for finance and data teams that need more detail than the standard clearing documents provide.
The standard clearing documents remain the authoritative accounting records for a payout:
- The self-billing invoice is the official accounting document.
- The clearing report provides the transaction-level detail supporting the payout totals.
Use a clearing supplement file to load payout-related data into a BI platform, ERP system, data warehouse, or automated reconciliation process. The available fields and delivery setup depend on the export configured for your account.
A clearing supplement file complements the standard clearing documents. It does not replace the self-billing invoice, credit note, or clearing report and should not be treated as the official accounting record for a payout.
