Set up your account
Cleverbridge provides account configuration options that help you set up the foundation for selling your products globally.
Use this section to prepare your account, team access, payout details, and business preferences before you configure products, checkout, and integrations.
Before you begin
Make sure that you have received your Cleverbridge client account details.
Some account settings are managed in Commerce Assistant (CA). To use CA, log in with your Cleverbridge credentials.
If you haven't downloaded CA yet, go to Download Commerce Assistant.
Set up your account details
In CA, you can view and edit the default settings for your Commerce Assistant account.
To set up your account details:
- Log in to CA.
- In the main menu, click Setup > Account Setup.
- Enter your contact information, localization preferences, and protection seeds.
- Click Save.

Set up users and access
Users need access to your Cleverbridge account before they can configure products, checkout, integrations, reporting, and other business settings.
You can manage users in SCM or CA, depending on your setup and permissions.
Manage users in SCM
In SCM, go to Settings > Users to add users and manage access directly in the platform.

Manage users in CA
In CA, administrators can add users and define login information, contact information, security policies, and access privileges.
To manage users in CA:
- In the main menu, click Setup > Users.
- Set up credentials and privileges for each person who needs access to the account.
- Click Save.

Manage user privileges
Privileges define what users can access and manage in your Cleverbridge account.
You can use predefined privileges for common roles, or create client-specific privileges based on your team's responsibilities.

Set up single sign-on
Cleverbridge supports Single Sign-On (SSO), so users can access SCM and Cleverbridge Documentation with your corporate identity provider, such as Entra ID or Okta.
SSO can help larger teams simplify onboarding and manage access centrally.

Prepare your payout details
Before you start selling, provide your payout information to Cleverbridge so we can transfer your revenue to the correct bank account.

Prepare your client policies
Client policies define your company's guidelines and procedures that Cleverbridge Customer Support applies when supporting your customers.
