Don't recognize a Cleverbridge charge?
If you see Cleverbridge on your bank, credit card, or PayPal statement and do not recognize the charge, it is usually connected to a software or digital product purchased through Cleverbridge.
Cleverbridge processes online purchases and subscription renewals for software and digital-product companies. This means you may recognize the product or company you purchased from, but not the Cleverbridge name shown on your statement.
The charge may be:
- A new purchase.
- A renewal of an existing subscription.
- A purchase made by another person authorized to use your payment method.
Identify the charge
1. Check your email
Search your inbox for an order confirmation from Cleverbridge. The confirmation includes information about the product, the company you purchased it from, and your order.
If you cannot find the email, check your spam or junk folder.
2. Look up your purchase
If you cannot find the confirmation email, use Purchase Lookup.
Enter the email address you may have used for the purchase. If you use several email addresses, try each address that could have been used.
The order information can help you identify:
- The product or service.
- The company you purchased from.
- Your Cleverbridge reference number.
- Whether the charge is related to a subscription.
Is the charge a subscription renewal?
If the order is connected to a subscription, the charge may be an automatic renewal of a subscription you purchased previously.
If you do not want the subscription to renew again, use the Cleverbridge subscription cancellation form.
You will need the email address used for the purchase and your Cleverbridge reference number. Follow the instructions in the cancellation flow and complete any confirmation step sent to you by email.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund a charge that has already been processed.
Do you want a refund for the charge?
If you identified the order but want to request a refund for a payment that has already been processed, use the Cleverbridge refund request form.
Refund availability depends on the purchase, payment method, purchase date, and the applicable refund policy.
Still don't recognize the payment?
If Purchase Lookup does not help you identify the charge, contact Cleverbridge Customer Support.
To help locate the transaction, provide as much of the following information as possible:
- The exact amount and currency.
- The date of the charge.
- The last four digits of the card that was charged, or the PayPal invoice ID.
- Other email addresses you may have used for the purchase.
- If a company card was used, your company name and email domain.
Do not send your full card number or other unnecessary sensitive payment information.
