PaymentsSwedish Real-Time Banking Phase-Out
Effective immediately, Swedish Real-Time Banking is no longer available as a payment option. Swedish banks are discontinuing this service as other payment methods are preferred. For alternative payment solutions, contact Client Experience.
Why this is important: Customers can no longer select Swedish Real-Time Banking. Renewals will result in awaiting offline payment, and customers will need to choose another payment type.

For more information, see Don't leave layer.
Why this is important: DLLs increase your conversion rate by encouraging customers to complete their purchases.
Added
PaymentsPayment Option Change for Return Debit Orders
Customers can now select their preferred payment option for return debit orders instead of being limited to wire transfers. Payment method changes are processed automatically.
For more information, see SEPA FAQs.
Why this is important: This change improves your success rate and boosts payments profitability, enhancing the overall customer experience.

CheckoutEnhanced SCA Emails
Cleverbridge added additional information to Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) reminder emails, including product name and price, helping customers easily identify and complete their purchases.
For more information, see SCA.
Why this is important: This improves order completion rates, helping avoid subscription cancellations.
PaymentsEarly Account Updater Requests
Cleverbridge now submits account updater requests six days before the next billing date, ensuring credit card information is up-to-date before recurring billing.
Why this is important: Increases update rates, reduces rejected transactions, and ensures recurring payments are processed without interruption.
Added
ApplicationsMultivariate Testing in Web Admin Tool
You can now conduct A/B tests and route customers by different criteria in the Subscription Commerce Manager. This feature helps optimize revenue and conversion rates through data-driven testing.

Why this is important: This ensures that customers receive only relevant emails, avoiding duplicate notifications for the same event.
Changed
PaymentsSubscription Price Updates No Longer Require SCA
Cleverbridge modified the logic for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) to treat subscription price updates as merchant-initiated transactions (MIT), exempting them from SCA requirements.
For more information, see SCA Rules.
Why this is important: Treating subscription price updates as MITs reduces involuntary churn by eliminating unnecessary authentication steps.
Added
APIsAutomatic Notification for SCA Requirement
Cleverbridge now offers a notification event that triggers when a purchase or recurring payment requires SCA but hasn’t yet been authenticated. This allows you to track and store relevant data in your systems.
For more information, see Secure3DEnrolledNotification.
Why this is important: Track SCA impact on your business and launch targeted campaigns based on the notification data.
