Pricing overview
Use Cleverbridge pricing tools to define how much customers pay and when a particular price or discount applies.
Start by choosing a pricing model, which describes how you charge customers, and a pricing method, which determines how prices behave across currencies. You can then enter prices directly for a product or use price configurations and price rules for more targeted pricing.
Pricing concepts
- A pricing model defines how you charge, such as one-time, fixed, seat-based, or usage-based pricing.
- A pricing method defines whether prices in additional currencies float with exchange rates or remain fixed.
- Product pricing stores the standard price directly on a product.
- A price configuration defines alternative prices or discounts for products or product lists.
- A price rule defines the conditions under which a price configuration applies.
Pricing setup can also include volume pricing, subscription-specific pricing, localized prices, and combinations of targeted pricing with coupons or promotions.
