AI data handling

Cleverbridge does not use prompts, queries, or results sent through TTYD to train AI models. Retention and use by the selected AI provider are controlled by your organization's plan, agreement, and workspace settings with that provider.

Use this information when reviewing a Talk to Your Data (TTYD) connection.

Data flow

For every request, TTYD checks the signed-in user’s SCM analytics privileges and only retrieves data that the user is allowed to access. The AI assistant processes the returned data to create the requested analysis and presentation.

How the AI provider handles and stores conversation data is governed by your organization’s agreement, workspace configuration, and settings with that provider.

Access and permissions

  • Connecting TTYD does not grant a user additional Cleverbridge access.
  • The signed-in user's existing Cleverbridge permissions and client scope determine what data is available.
  • TTYD cannot change Cleverbridge data, settings, products, or subscriptions.
  • TTYD cannot contact customers or perform operational actions.
  • Access must be enabled by Cleverbridge and may also require approval from the user's organization.

Review checklist

Before approving the connection, confirm:

  • The user population that may access TTYD.
  • The Cleverbridge clients and analytics data available to those users.
  • The AI platform and workspace in which TTYD will be used.
  • The organization's data-handling and retention settings with the AI provider.
  • The process for revoking access when a user changes roles or leaves the organization.
  • Any internal restrictions on entering additional company or customer data into the conversation.
