Why offer SEPA Wire Transfer?

SEPA Wire Transfer gives customers in the SEPA region a familiar euro account-to-account payment option. It can fit purchasing processes in which the customer must approve and send a bank transfer directly.

Order flow

SEPA Wire Transfer payment flow
  1. The customer selects SEPA Wire Transfer and confirms the order.
  2. Cleverbridge provides the bank details and payment instructions.
  3. The customer sends the transfer through their bank.
  4. Cleverbridge receives and matches the transfer to the order.
  5. After confirmation, Cleverbridge sends the delivery details.

Processing and matching

The customer's bank confirmation and Cleverbridge order confirmation are separate. Cleverbridge completes the order only after it receives the funds and matches the transfer using the provided payment details and reference.
