Pricing
Cleverbridge offers a versatile suite of pricing models and methods, thoughtfully designed to adapt to your business needs and unlock its full potential.
You can implement pricing at the individual product level or through various price configurations.
Basic pricing
The simplest approach to pricing is defining a base price for an individual product. Using our Web Admin tool or Commerce Assistant (CA), you can easily set the product's base price, tailored to the selected pricing model and method for a specific product.
Price configurations
For more sophisticated pricing strategies, Cleverbridge enables you to create advanced price configurations. These configurations allow you to control pricing for specific customer groups based on predefined conditions such as their location, language, license quantity and other parameters.
Set up product pricing
To set up prices for your products, use either the options available in our web admin tool under Configure > Manage Products or the Suggested Retail Price section of the Product portal in Commerce Assistant (CA).
Add a price configuration
A price configuration is used to create and apply sets of prices for a single product ID. You use price configurations to create special pricing based on a combination of regions, products, languages, and so on.
Add a price rule
Price rule define specific conditions under which certain pricing adjustments or discounts are applied within a price configuration. It is part of a pricing strategy used to tailor pricing based on different factors. By linking price rules to price configurations, businesses can craft dynamic, highly tailored pricing strategies that meet specific promotional goals and customer needs.
Select a pricing method
You can price your products with two methods:

Use a price configuration for combining discounts and coupons
When a customer uses a coupon code along with a price rule discount, the final price may be lower than intended. This can happen, for example, if you offer a market-specific discount, such as in Brazil, and also provide a coupon code to a Brazilian customer. The combination of the Brazil-specific discount and the coupon code could result in selling the product at a lower price than planned.
