Cancel subscriptions
Cleverbridge gives your customers a self-service option to cancel their subscriptions. This helps customers manage future billing renewals independently and gives them a clear path to cancel a subscription when they no longer want it to renew.
Customers usually cancel or manage their subscription from the order confirmation email they received after the payment was processed. The relevant link is in the Subscription overview section, which may also be called Automatic renewal cancelation, Cancel your subscription, or Manage your subscription. Canceling a subscription stops future billing renewals, but it does not automatically refund the order.
Cancel a subscription
To cancel a subscription, customers do the following:
- Open the order confirmation email they received from Cleverbridge.
- Scroll to the Subscription overview section.
- Select the link to cancel or manage the subscription.
- Follow the instructions on the page.
Find the order confirmation email
If customers cannot find their order confirmation email, they can use Purchase Lookup to receive an order overview by email.
After they receive the order overview, customers can open the order details and find the subscription management link in the Subscription overview section. The Help Center article also recommends checking the junk or spam folder if the order overview email does not arrive.
