One-time payment flow

These are the steps that customers follow when making a one-time payment for a perpetual product or an initial payment for a subscription:

  1. The customer submits a credit card payment on the checkout page by filling their correct payment details.

  2. The issuing bank usually requests additional details from the cardholder to verify the purchase. For more information, see Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).

  3. If the customer authentication succeeds and there are sufficient funds, the transaction is processed within three business days, after which the funds are transferred to Cleverbridge.

  4. Upon the customer’s request and depending on the status of the transaction (pending or complete), a credit card refund is finalized within five business days.
