Purchase
The purchase flow for SEPA Direct Debits is as follows:

The customer selects SEPA direct debit on the Cleverbridge checkout, provides their IBAN, and personal details.

Cleverbridge processes the order. The order status is changed to Paid.

The customer receives the delivery details on the confirmation page. Typically it takes up to three business days for SEPA direct debit payments to reach Cleverbridge after the customer's account was debited.

Auto-renewal
The auto-renewal flow for SEPA Direct Debits is as follows:

During the initial purchase, the customer provides a recurring SEPA Direct Debit mandate. This mandate debits the agreed amount for each subscription payment.

If payment details change before the subscription renewal, the customer can ask Cleverbridge for a Change Payment Link to update their payment information.

On the day of the subscription renewal, the customer's bank account is debited. The customer receives renewal details on the confirmation page.

Manual renewal
The manual renewal flow for SEPA Direct Debits is as follows:

Cleverbridge sends a reminder email to the customer seven days before the subscription renewal date.

When the customer confirms the subscription renewal, they provide a single mandate that authorizes Cleverbridge to debit the amount due for the subscription renewal.

On the day of the subscription renewal, the customer's bank account is debited, and the customer immediately receives the subscription renewal details on the confirmation page.
