Keep track of subscription-related actions

Notifications and tracking give you complete visibility into the subscription lifecycle. Notifications are your system of record for change events—they arrive the moment a customer performs an action that let you sync your CRM, trigger billing and email workflows, and maintain accurate audit logs. Tracking complements this by capturing the behavior leading up to those events: what customers see, where they stumble, and which campaigns drive conversions, so that you can diagnose friction, reduce churn, and attribute revenue.

Receiving notifications

You will be notified whenever a customer makes a change to their subscription through one of our notifications. The most important notifications related to Subscriptions include:

Subscription paidA customer has successfully completed the payment for an active subscription (a renewal or an upgrade). Sent when the payment is processed, whether online or offline. Contains subscription item data for the previous and new interval.
Subscription on gracePayment is due but could not be processed with the available payment details. The customer must update payment info to process the renewal or the subscription will be deactivated.

Subscription reinstatedThe subscription has been reactivated and the customer is expected to pay on the next billing date.
