Configure Checkout

Cleverbridge is an end-to-end commerce platform that covers every stage of the purchase experience, including catalog, pricing, taxes, localization, consent, payments, checkout presentation, analytics, and compliance. Because the platform is unified, you define shared business settings once in SCM, and Checkout consumes them automatically with no need to duplicate configuration.

These items live in your SCM configuration and flow through to Checkout.

  • Available products: Create and manage products, variants, names, short descriptions, additional name information, and product images. These values power the “Products” module in Checkout.
For more details, see Set up your products

  • Commercials and localization

    • Pricing and taxes: Maintain price lists, pricing plans, tax settings, and whether prices are shown gross or net by default. Checkout reads these values for B2C and B2B.
    • Languages and translations: Enable languages and manage localized product texts, legal notices, and messaging. Checkout displays the languages you enable and the translations you provide.
    • Currencies and price display conventions: Enable currencies, rounding, and formatting rules. Checkout uses your enabled currencies and display conventions. For more details, see Localize your checkout
  • Coupons and promotions: Create coupon codes and configure their rules and validity. Checkout can show a coupon field and apply your codes at purchase time.
For more details, see Implement item-level promotions

  • Link strategy and preselection: Build purchase links that preselect products, language, country, currency, and coupons for campaigns and storefronts.
For more details, see: Checkout URLs.

All the changes you publish in SCM, such as new translations or prices, appear in Checkout immediately.

Configuration that is specific to Checkout pages is handled by Cleverbridge in close collaboration with your team. Together, we align on goals, gather the required assets and copy, share a preview, validate for quality and compliance, and release safely.

Most of these updates are defined at the following levels:

  • Checkout flow and components
  • Storefront integration options (Checkout 1.0).
