About payouts

Payouts are the regular payments Cleverbridge makes to you, representing the revenue earned from your processed transactions within a specific clearing period.

The Self-billing invoice (or Credit note in CA) is created automatically at the end of each clearing period. It serves as the official invoice for your payout, so you do not need to issue or submit any additional invoices to Cleverbridge.

On the 16th day day of the following month, Cleverbridge securely transfers the credited amount to your designated bank account in accordance with your contractual terms.

note

If the 16th is a weekend or holiday, the payout is made on the next working day.

Depending on your bank’s location and policies, it may take from 1 to 5 days for the money to appear in your account.

To help you reconcile your accounts, every payout is accompanied by a clearing report, providing a clear, auditable record of the amount credited to you and reflecting all completed sales, refunds, and adjustments, ensuring full financial transparency.

Payout details

All the payout information, including banking details and payout currency, is defined per client in compliance with your contractual agreement and regional banking regulations.

To update your payout data, or change the payout currency:

  1. Fill out, print, sign, and, if possible, stamp the Change of Payout Information Form.
    important

If you are a US-based company, use the Change of Payout Information Form (US).

  2. Scan the signed and stamped document and send it to Cleverbridge.

Company data

You company details, including the address, are used to perform the transfers and is visible on the Self-billing invoices/Credit notes. If you need to recheck or change the data, please email Client Payments.

Payout vs. PaidOrderNotification

The payout amount for a purchase given in the clearing report can differ from the payout amount in the corresponding PaidOrderNotification if the customer purchased the product in a currency other than your payout currency. The PaidOrderNotification contains an approximate payout amount because the exchange rate might fluctuate until the actual payout amount is calculated.
