Quote links

Quote links open a quote page that customers can review before placing or changing an order. The appropriate workflow depends on whether the quote is for an initial order, a subscription renewal, or a subscription upgrade.

Choose a quote workflow

Scenario	Where the quote is created	Instructions
Initial order	SCM, under Manage > Quote Links, or through an enabled customer quote-request flow in checkout.	Create and manage quotes for initial orders
Subscription renewal	The subscription management workflow for the active subscription.	Use quotes for renewals
Subscription upgrade	The subscription upgrade workflow, with changes scheduled for the selected date.	Use quotes for upgrades

Initial-order quote links can include customer details, products, quantities, currencies, discounts, custom prices where permitted, validity settings, coupons, tracking parameters, and additional link parameters. You can later open, copy, edit, or delete saved quote links from the Quote Links grid in SCM.
