Google Pay
Google Pay is an all-in-one app for Android users that stores their payment information in a centralized manner. Customers can easily access the payment methods through their existing Google account. The payment information is encrypted, ensuring a fast and secure web and mobile checkout experience.
On the Cleverbridge checkout, the customer experience with Google Pay is as follows:

The customer clicks Buy with GPay in the express checkout area.
-
The customer selects their Google Pay email address and chooses a preferred payment method.
-
When the payment method is chosen, the customer clicks the Pay button.
Unauthenticated Google Pay users are prompted to resubmit their security code and complete Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) > 3D Secure for enhanced security. -
The customer clicks Next.
-
The customer reviews the order overview and clicks Buy Now to finalize the purchase.
-
The order is processed successfully, and the customer receives an order confirmation. If the order fails due to an authentication issue, the customer can click Change Payment and select a different payment method to pay for the order.
