Amazon Pay
important
Amazon Pay, previously available for transactions in the US, is deprecated and is no longer offered as an active payment method for new purchases.
If a customer previously paid with Amazon Pay, refunds can still be processed for those transactions.
The following article is left solely for reference purposes.
The customer experience with Amazon Pay involves the following steps:
- The customer selects Amazon Pay as a payment option in the express checkout area on the Cleverbridge checkout page.
- The customer signs in with their Amazon account to proceed with the transaction.
- The customer enters a billing and shipping address and selects a preferred payment method.
- The customer consents to an automatic billing agreement and clicks the Next button.
This consent streamlines future subscription renewals. - The customer reviews their billing information and confirms the purchase by clicking Buy Now.
- The transaction is completed successfully, and the customer receives an order confirmation containing both the product and the receipt.
