Generate partner-related links
Use the Link Generator in Commerce Assistant to create links for the following types of partner web pages. These links are integrated into your website.

Partner checkout process
You have two options for placing links to the partner checkout process:
- Placing a static login button in the cart. The partner logs in through an extra page and then moves to the cart where the discount is applied.
- Generating a specific checkout URL that goes straight to the cart. The discount is applied in the cart. See Checkout flow optimization examples.
tip
Placing a partner login button in the cart can be distracting, especially for regular customers. It also leads the partner away from the checkout process. One way to streamline the process is to have a separate login area for partners when they come to your site. They can log in and then browse through a separate catalog with their discounted products. When they check out, their credentials are already pre-filled.
