Pay with Klarna Pay Now
Overview
Klarna Pay Now lets eligible customers pay through an online bank transfer or a bank-account direct debit, depending on the options shown at checkout.
Pay for a purchase
- On the Cleverbridge checkout, select Klarna Pay Now and choose Online Bank Transfer (Sofort) or Bank Account (Direct Debit) when offered.
- Continue to the Klarna form and complete any missing information.
- Verify the personal information and return to the checkout.
- Review the order and select Buy Now.
- Complete the payment in Klarna:
- For Sofort, sign in to online banking and authorize the payment.
- For Direct Debit, enter the IBAN and authorize the debit.
- After Cleverbridge confirms the payment, the confirmation page displays the delivery details.
Subscription payments
- Direct Debit: When updating an automatically renewing subscription, select Klarna Pay Now and Bank Account (Direct Debit), complete the Klarna form, and authorize the bank account with the IBAN.
- Sofort: For a manual renewal, use the renewal link from Cleverbridge, select Klarna Pay Now and Online Bank Transfer (Sofort), and authorize the payment through online banking.
Klarna describes Pay Now as payment in full today. The exact options and labels vary by market. See Klarna's official payment-option descriptions.
If the payment fails
If Klarna declines the payment, use the Cleverbridge option or email link to choose another payment method. Information changed in the Klarna form is not automatically copied to the Cleverbridge billing details; review both before submitting the order.
